Toyo's Initiatives

In recent increasing globalization, social responsibilites and risks required to be borne by the company have become diversified, and the resultant effects have also been widely ranged.

Through the establishment of the "Seismic Risk Management Committe", we have built a system for timely and appropriate actions to minimize the influence of various types of risk to both business and society, with the aid of a set of action and operation procedures.

Employees in the respective sections at the respective locations are encouraged to identify the task and hold review meeting on the regular basis through emergency drill just in case of crisis.

Risk Management System

Business Continuity Plan and Management (BCP/BCM)	By formulating BCP/BCM, we are working on the task of minimizing the influence of threats to society and business. This is to minimize the risk to continuous business operations in case of threats to our operations, international or political disaster, or earthquakes, storms and flood damage.
Evacuation Drill	An evacuation drill is conducted for the respective along with training in victim support and putting out small fires.
Safety Confirmation	The "Safety Confirmation System" has been introduced to allow quick and accurate confirmation that employees are safe in the event of the disaster. This is achieved by a monthly training program.
Emergency Supplies	Distributing emergency evacuation articles to all employees, and reserving emergency rations for disasters.
Safety Confirmation of Business Travellers Overseas	Information on overseas business travel of the employees is shared by Departments of Overseas Business and General Affairs for the purpose of making contact and offering advice in case of emergency.
